We are here to accelerate the deployment of affordable electrochemical devices and enable the clean energy transition.
We will enter the market of electrochemical devices as a key technology supplier by delivering our revolutionary patterned wettability technology with close collaboration with a manufacturing partner.
Heratec was founded by ir. Rik van Gorp and dr. Antoni Forner-Cuenca, who both have a strong background in electrochemical engineering. Over the course of time, the founders aims to broaden Heratec’s services to deliver novel, much needed material breakthroughs for the deployment of carbon dioxide electrolysis, water electrolysis, electrochemical cement production, redox flow batteries, and fuel cells.
“Heratec operates at the leading edge of the clean energy sector to create value with technical innovations for the next generation of electrochemical devices. At the same time, Heratec facilitates sustainable breakthroughs in adjacent fields through an asset-light licensing business model.”
“We develop innovative material breakthroughs to empower the deployment of affordable electrochemical devices and enable the clean energy transition.”
