The Thematical Tech Transfer fund has awarded Heratec with a follow-up grant of €25,000 to validate the long-term stability of its product. Heratec will collaborate with the Eindhoven University of Technology, The Paul Scherrer Institute, and industry partners to demonstrate the long-term stability of gas diffusion layers with patterned wettability under realistic operating conditions.

The technology validation grant comes in succession of an earlier business validation grant, which was used to produce a technology mapping, competitive analysis, and business plan to outline a clearly defined commercial strategy for Heratec’s technology.
